WHY USE WOOL?

There are many benefits to using a wool mattress:

Wool is all natural and environment friendly:

Wool and cotton are natural fibers. You can be assured that our 100% domestic wool is chemical-free no synthetic materials were released into the environment for the manufacturing of our products.

Absorbent:

Wool has the ability to absorb large amounts of natural body moisture which can help sufferers of flashes or night sweats stay comfortable. Wool naturally absorbs this moisture keeping you comfortable without any feeling of dampness. Compared to synthetics, which can absorb moisture equal to 4% or less their weight, wool can absorb up to 30% without feeling cold or clammy. Synthetic fillings and coverings do not absorb moisture, resulting in hot and cold fluctuations in body temperature throughout the night. This could be disturbing your sleep more than you realize, causing you to wake up tired.

Soft and resilient:

Wool-fill retains its superior qualities wet or dry. Unlike synthetics, that flatten out with wear, wools crimpiness has a natural resiliency which gives it the ability to naturally spring back to its original size and shape. Wool-fill outperforms synthetics such as polyester fiber fill. In scientific tests, wool recovered 95% of its original thickness when compressed in comparison to the 67% to 79% of synthetic substitutes.

Flame proof:

Wool is naturally flame retardant.

Easy Care:

Your Nature’s Wool product is 100% wool-fill, is durable and will last for generations. Because of the natural resilience of the wool fiber, your cover will spring back to its original shape with a simple vacuuming, it is easily flipped and rotated on the bed top. Wool’s low static fibers resist dust and staining, and its natural Lanolin oil resists liquids.

Lanolin Benefits:

Lanolin is a natural element in wool that not only resists liquids but it also guards against dust mites, mold and mildew which is a benefit to allergy and asthma sufferers.
